Your business runs on it.
Know who can get in.

Microsoft 365 brings email, files and collaboration together. A focused review helps an owner understand access decisions, sharing practices and the next improvements to discuss with the IT provider.

Start with access. Follow the business impact.

A growing company can accumulate old accounts, broad administrator privileges, external sharing links and unclear responsibility for sign-in controls. These are questions to investigate, rather than assumptions about your environment.

CX is developing a Microsoft 365 review for small businesses that want a clear view of agreed account and configuration settings. The exact workloads and evidence are specified before review. We coordinate with the person who administers your tenant.

Useful questions for your IT provider

  • Who owns the tenant and can recover administrative access?
  • Which accounts have privileged roles, and why?
  • What sign-in protection is enabled, and where are the exceptions?
  • How are departing staff and external collaborators removed?
  • Who reviews sharing settings and recovery arrangements?
  • Access and role observationsReview agreed administrator assignments and account lifecycle evidence.
  • Sign-in control questionsDocument observed protection, exceptions and items that need administrator validation.
  • Sharing prioritiesReview agreed collaboration settings and explain the business tradeoffs.
  • A scoped improvement planIdentify owners, dependencies and the changes that need separate approval.

Review before changing production.

A policy that is appropriate for one tenant may lock users out or interrupt a workflow in another. Changes require a named approver, licensing review, appropriate test users, communication and rollback arrangements. An implementation project is priced and scheduled separately.

Know what this review is

It is a planned configuration and evidence review, not Microsoft support, a penetration test, a guarantee against account compromise or a Microsoft partner certification. Advanced controls depend on licensing and the actual scope.
